Adams Design, Inc. is an award winning interior design firm established in 1998 by Lisa Adams, its principal. Her work has been featured in such publications as The Washington Post, The Washington Times, Washingtonian and Home and Design magazines. Her design for a master bedroom was chosen as the January/February 2003 cover of Home and Design and her work was published in two books featuring Washington area designers, Spectacular Homes (2006) and in Visions of Design (2008). The firm's design was featured in the 2010 DC Design House, benefiting Children's Hospital.

Lisa Adams, the principal of Adams Design, Inc., has provided space planning and interior design services for institutional, commercial, and residential clients. The firm has developed designs for the common spaces in condominium buildings, independent schools in the Washington area and for other types of institutional buildings, including Friendship Place, a service center for the homeless in NW Washington, DC. The firm has also designed professional offices for individuals and for companies. In addition, Lisa Adams has designed numerous private residences across the United States, from Massachusetts and the Delaware shore to Castle Valley, Utah.
Lisa Adams is a graduate of Yale University and holds an MBA from Columbia University's Graduate School of Business. She earned her interior design degree from Mount Vernon College (now part of George Washington University). She has been an Adjunct Professor of Interior Design at GWU. She is a professional member of the American Society of Interior Design (ASID) and has served as the president of the Washington Metro Chapter. She has also been a juror for the Interior Design Professional licensing exam, the NCIDQ. She is a past member of the DC Board of Architecture, Interior Design and Landscape Architecture, and a former delegate to CIDQ (Council of Interior Design Qualifications).
